Loosey Goosey

Thursdays, 3:30-5 :30p.m. | January– March, and 1 Thursday in December

Thanks for your interest in the Loosey Goosey Ski Group, our Après Ski potlucks and the Summit Seniors.

Established in 1989, we are a loosely (Loosey Goosey) structured group of fun and active folks 50 years old and over who ski and ride together on specified days at local resorts and enjoy gathering at weekly socials during the season.

Our group, with a membership of over 200 local and visiting senior skiers, coordinates popular potluck après ski parties on most Thursdays, from 4 to 6, December through March at the Summit Community & Senior Center in Frisco. We are now part of the Summit Seniors, a non profit organization, that is the social organization connected to the Center.

Our members participate in many local ski day programs including the Meetup 50+ Ski Group at Breckenridge on Tuesdays and at Keystone on Thursdays. When you attend our après ski parties you will always hear about other members joining up to travel to Loveland, A-Basin, Copper, Vail, Beaver Creek, Steamboat, Cooper and other resorts near and far.

Our nominal, but critical, annual membership fee this year of $15 helps cover the costs of weekly room rental fees, serving supplies, some beverages, and our annual membership party which is held in January. Members also receive our emailed announcements and updates, and a membership directory. All members must also belong to the Summit Senior’s at an annual fee of $15.

Below is a link to the Summit Senior’s on-line Membership signup, or to download an application which can be mailed. You can also join at the Summit County Community Center.

Online registration: https://summit-seniors.org/membership/

For the 2022-2023 Après Ski Season, our members bring an appetizer, or beverages (wine/beer/soda) to share and meet at the Summit County Community and Senior Center on Thursday December 15 from 4:00 to 6:00 and from January 5, 2023 until March 30, 2023 every Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00.
