Summit Historical Society

The Summit Seniors are excited to announce our first Partner of the Month selection… The Summit Historical Society.  The Summit Historical Society is a non-profit member organization devoted to highlighting the cultural and social history of our community. Not only does the Society provide educational opportunities for all ages, but it helps residents and visitors alike share experiences such as hikes and boat tours which bring alive the history that has made Summit County the amazing place that it is today. When you join as a member of the SHS you are able to participate in member only events. The Summit Historical Society values it Senior Members. Come join and share your life experiences with adults and children through the Summit County Schools and the 1883 School house. Volunteer to be a guide on Lake Dillon, docent in the 1883 schoolhouse and the Dillon Farmers Market. Research historical topics for exhibits and documentation of the collection…. And so much more.
